We don’t just want to serve you food, rather create daily food experiences which are good for both mankind and the environment. Today we are living beyond our means, not just in what we eat – but also how we eat. We at Linköping Concert and Congress, have made a conscious choice to use locally sourced food in order to reduce transportation and support suppliers in our local area. We more than happily offer game from the region and vegetarian alternatives in our daily lunch menu, and encourage all our guests to enjoy a more climate-smart lunch or dinner alternative.
Sustainable food with locally grown ingredients
Sometimes we suspect that our guests keep returning to our restaurant because of the food, since the food experience is central to the overall experience. Furthermore, in our enlightened kitchen there is a huge commitment to sustainability – from the producers all the way on to the plate. And recycling of course.
A menu in both the body and the climate’s best interests
One aspect of our sustainability thinking is also to gradually increase the proportion of vegetarian dishes on the menu. In this we have come a very long way, and we also consciously invest in ecological choices in the matter of wine and beer. Of course we are careful to offer good alcohol-free alternatives for both meals and refreshments. We want everyone to feel at home here and get the chance to enjoy food and drink!
For us at Linköping Konsert & Kongress it is important to prioritise locally sourced, ecological raw ingredients – and yes it is a challenge! But we have decided once and for all: The way of sustainability is the way to go. And of course it must taste fantastic!
Linköping Konsert & Kongress Bistro ♥ Karma
Linköping Konsert & Kongress Bistro is also linked to Karma. It gives you, as a guest, the opportunity to “Save good food from being thrown out!”. With the Karma App you can buy food that is left over from our lunch service at a reduced price, and in that way contribute to reducing food waste.

Combine your concert with dinner
A cold beer with a juicy hamburger for the rock concert. A grilled trout with a glass of white for the pop concert. A taco or pancake buffet for the children’s performance. Even if you eat together you have a stomach each – and in order for you to have a good food experience here with us, we have customised the menu for your particular evening.
For the majority of our events we tailor-make our menus to intensify your food experience with us at Linköping Konsert & Kongress. With the respective events, two course menus are presented on the web in good time before the concert day approaches. If you prefer something simpler, there is always a concert menu to order in the bar. The Bistro and bar open 2 hours before the performance.

Östgötamat local food
In Linköping we are surrounded on all sides by arable land. Our town is beautifully situated in the middle of the fertile plains of Östgöta where food production is higher than many other places. Östgötamat is a portal for food, raw ingredients and experiences where you can find many exciting producers, farm shops and inns.
Linköping Konsert & Kongress has long been Nordic Swan eco-labelled and certificated in accordance with Green Keys international ecolabel for conference and hotel facilities. We offer climate-smart food with ecological and locally-produced ingredients, manage our waste in an environmentally-friendly way, work to reduce the use of plastic and packaging, take responsibility for reduction of chemicals as well as working towards minimising energy use.
Linköping Konsert & Kongress serves only coffee that is Rainforest certificated. The certification means a guarantee that the coffee is produced in socially acceptable and environmentally friendly conditions. This is one way for us to contribute to improving the working and living conditions of coffee producers and their workers in developing countries.
